Cell phone radiation impact human health

Today cell phones have become a tool in people’s daily life. It is no longer a piece of news that cell phones radiate microwaves that might cause diseases to human body, or bring potential harm to our health.

Studies show that mobile phone radiation can possibly cause health problems such as high blood pressure, headaches, brain tumors; Alzheimer’s and even cancer, and more. Yet due to the cumulative effects of cell phone use not every one is fully aware of the potential harm.

Before it is too late, cell phone owners should take some action to reduce the harm to the minimum degree. Here are some tips you can refer:

  1. Keep the radiation exposure to the smallest. This means that it is wise keep calls short, do your best to avoid prolix chatting. A simply two-minute call has been found to alter the electrical activity of the brain for up to one hour afterwards.
Children should be allowed to use the cell phone in case of emergency only.
Keep your mobile phone as far as possible from your body when you do not use it. Some cell phone occupants like to place the cell phones in pockets of their pants while they are on. The lower part of human body absorbs radiation more quickly than the upper part.

  2. If you consider about using headphones, choose wireless headsets than wired headsets. The wire not only transmits the radiation but also works as an antenna which attracts EMFs (electromagnetic fields) from the neighbourhood. When using your cell phone without a headset, wait for the call to connect before drawing it close to your ear.

  3. When buying from cell phone wholesale providers or individual sellers, Select cell phones with lower SAR (Specific Absorption Rate). Check the SAR number shown in the instruction manual. The lower the SAR value the better.
Avoid answering calls in enclosed metal spaces such as elevators or vehicles—the radiation can be stronger.
